Flight Arrivals at Brindisi Airport

Brindisi Airport arrivals will find car hire companies located in a designated area just outside the terminal. Among the car rental desks at the airport are Avis and Autoeurope, Budget, Hertz and Maggiore.

There is also a bus stop, which takes passengers to Lecce, a 45-minute journey away along the SS613 route, and into Brindisi, which lies only 6 km distance from the airport. Bus times are arranged around arrivals and departures, so there is never a long wait.

Brindisi Airport is the gateway to the Apulia region, the "heel" of Italy. The area boasts many tourist attractions and enjoys a mild climate all year. The region is linked with Bergamo, Bologna and Brussels, London, Milan and Munich, Rome, Venice, Paris, Geneva and Zurich among many other European cities. Alitalia, Ryanair, Easyjet and TAP Portugal are among the airlines flying in and out of Brindisi Airport.

At the terminal passengers will find coffee shops, bars and restaurants and well as retail outlets for last minute purchases. An information stand located just in front of the arrivals hall can help in case of emergencies (tel +39 (0) 80 5800 200). Passengers will also find restrooms for the disabled and baby changing facilities at the terminal.

Brindisi Airport does not have its own airport hotel, but as the city is so close by, visitors will find a wide selection of hotels and guesthouses is readily available locally and there is, of course, even more choice in nearby Lecce.

The Grande Albergo Internazionale at Viale Regina Margharita 23 in Brindisi is a 4-star hotel with a lovely historic character (tel +39 0831 523 473). Hotel Colonna at Corso Roma 83 (tel 39 0831 562 557) offers guests great comfort in the heart of Brindisi. Hotel Palazzo Virgilio at Corso Umberto 1 (tel +39 0831 597 941) is a boutique hotel with luxuriously appointed rooms close to tourist attractions.
